MRI Results

I got a call from Wyatt's doctor today and the results from his MRI are in. The spot on his head looks to be a lipoma which is just a small growth of fat cells. This is good news for us. It doesn't seem like anything more will need to be done. We most likely won't even need to have a biopsy done either which was the main reason for the MRI (to make sure a biopsy was safe to do). If a diagnosis could be made from the MRI then we weren't going to need the biopsy. Also, these fatty growths may get bigger over time but not much and as long as they don't become bothersome then nothing more will ever need to be done. So, now we know and the spot on Wyatt's head is nothing to worry about.

Holy Cats! I have to say, you handled this far better than I would have! I'm super glad to hear that it's just a birth mark of-sorts. It sounds a lot like what Isaiah has on his head. His doc told us at 2 months that it will probably get bigger for a while, then it will probably fade or stay the same for the rest of his life. If Isaiah's hair is Dan's color, that might be a little odd, as the spot is red. If he has my hair color, it won't batter at all.

Oh yeah!!! I'm so glad to hear the good news.

I just got your message about 15 minutes ago about going for a walk today. I'm thinking you're not up for walking at 10:45 at night, right?? hehehe Just FYI: at least until June, I'm in Baldwin on Mon, Tues, Wed and probably most Thursdays now. Fridays are usually good days for me.
